美国在华跨国企业代表：这一“票”，投武汉！

　　9月27日，国家发展改革委与美在华跨国企业高层圆桌会——湖北武汉站活动举行。IDG、嘉吉、埃克森美孚等40多家在华跨国企业代表参与了此次活动。

　　On Sept. 27, the high-level roundtable meeting between the National

Development and Reform Commission and American multinational enterprises in

China was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Representatives of more than 40

multinational companies in China, including IDG, Cargill and ExxonMobil,

participated in the event.

　　企业代表们走进长飞光纤、盛隆电气、国家智能网联汽车(武汉)测试示范区等地，实地感受武汉光电子信息、生物医药、汽车及智能制造等产业发展态势。多位代表表示，中国中部，将是今后全球最有前景的增长极之一，这一“票”，投武汉。

　　They visited YOFC, Shenglong Electric, the National Intelligent Connected

Vehicle (Wuhan) Testing Demonstration Zone and other places to experience the

development trend of Wuhan's optoelectronic information, biomedicine, automotive

and intelligent manufacturing industries. Many delegates said that Central China

will be one of the most promising growth poles in the world in the future, and

they would like to vote for Wuhan.

　　27日，跨国企业代表们来到光谷考察调研，这里是国家光电子信息产业基地，诞生了我国第一根石英光纤，建成了我国第一个光通信传输系统等。

　　当来宾们走进路特斯全球智能工厂的生产装配现场，眼前一台台崭新的eletre纯电超跑SUV车型非常“吸睛”，流线的造型以及大量空气动力学的设计元素，彰显着这一超豪华汽车品牌的设计魅力。

　　When the guests came to the production and assembly site of Lotus Global

Smart Factory, they found a new EletreSUV model very "eye-catching." The

streamline design and a large number of aerodynamic elements highlighted the

charm of this ultra-luxury brand.

　　在武汉经开区深耕了20多年的企业康明斯表示，武汉营商环境越来越好，康明斯在武汉的投资越来越大，目前企业在汉设立了其全球第二大研发中心，以及重要的供应链中心。

　　Cummins, a company that has been deeply engaged in the Wuhan Economic

development Zone for more than 20 years, said that the business environment in

Wuhan is getting better and better, and Cummins is investing more and more in

the city, where the company has established its second largest research and

development center in the world and an important supply chain center.

　　当前，武汉经开区正立足汽车产业优势，全区共吸引了来自40个国家或地区的400余家外资企业，其中就包括24家知名美资企业。

　　Ebay, a large US online e-commerce platform, has kept its leading position

in the world in online sales of auto parts. A representative of the company

said: "Wuhan's automobile supporting industry is well developed and has a good

prospect. We expect to cooperate with more local automobile upstream and

downstream enterprises and to attract more local manufacturers to join the

platform and sell their products to the world."
